Katie has alway had a keen eye for costume and fashion design. Through the course of her work she has gained experience in sewing, prop work, screen printing, dying/aging and distressing fabric. She is also skilled in using illustrator and photoshop as well as hand rendering to create illustrations that are accurate to the costume.

Katie is always looking for new opportunities to use her sewing, crafts, and rendering skills and prides herself on her ability to capture a character's essence through researching, analysis, costume plots, as well as creativity. She already has worked in a number of fast pace films and TV shows where her roles were: Costumer, Stitcher, Shopper, Fabric Dyer, and Fitter.

Katie has also worked on a number of other shows and plays through the Costume House in North Hollywood, where she was the supervisor of the sewing department. During this time she was in charge of all builds, fittings, and collaborating with costume designers to understand exactly what their vision for a costume would be.

Katie finished her degree in Theatre Costume Design in the Advanced Study program at FIDM in April of 2018. She was 1 out of 7 students accepted into the program; and was one of the 17 graduates to be honored & featured in FIDM's Industry Debut show.
